Technical Centre Success - 12 months on

Apollo is celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of its £540,000 technical centre, ‘the ‘Robert Saunders Building’, named in memory of Apollo founder and pioneer of polyurethane technology.
The purpose-built facility is dedicated to Apollo’s technical team and offers state-of-the-art product development and testing labs, two training and demonstration suites, meeting room facilities and office space
Since opening, the technical centre has hosted over 60 customer visits and training sessions, with all visitors being impressed with the facilities on offer.
Commenting on the impact the centre has had to date, Apollo’s Technical Manager, Darrell Tibbins, said: “Having a dedicated centre for showcasing our technical expertise to customers demonstrates how serious we are in supporting them and the importance we place on our own ongoing product development and innovation work.
“Technical expertise has always been Apollo’s key asset and forms part of our ‘More than adhesives’ brand promise. The new centre allows us to replicate production facilities for product development and test applications ensuring that we continue to provide the best performing adhesives, coatings and primers for our customers whilst at the same time continuing our culture of innovation.”
