APOLLO SAYS CHRISTMAS THANK YOU TO TEAM

Published: 23 December 2019

Apollo has continued its Christmas tradition by presenting hampers to all its employees and inviting them to its annual Christmas party as a thank you for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Each of the business’s 182 employees has received a selection of festive treats as a personal gift from Apollo Chairman, Jon Saunders, and a party to get everyone into the Christmas spirit and celebrate another successful year.

Jon said: “Our employees are our biggest asset and without their hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t be the success story we are today. Acknowledging this at Christmas is just one way of demonstrating my appreciation, but I’d like to think that our colleagues feel appreciated throughout the year too.

“Investing in the well-being of our staff is important to us with ‘Care’ being a key value, alongside ‘Safety’ and ‘Trust’. This year has seen £100,000 invested in new canteen facilities providing a much brighter, modern space for employees to relax during breaks and catch up with colleagues, and, in November, 10 colleagues completed training to become mental health first aiders which compliments our recently introduced ‘Employee Assist Programme’ (EAP), offering support for employees with personal or professional problems which could be affecting their home or work life, health and general wellbeing.

“Apollo has had a great year and continues to grow thanks to everyone playing their part, and for that I’d like to say ‘thank you’ and wish all of our employees a very Happy Christmas and wish them all the best for 2020.”
