APOLLO APPOINTS NEW PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Apollo has welcomed Mark Turland as its new Procurement Manager.

Mark joins Apollo at an exciting time, as the business continues to drive forward its ambitious strategy for growth, and is responsible for streamlining the purchasing process for services, materials and equipment across the business.

Commenting on Mark’s appointment Managing Director, Ian Cornelius, said: “Mark’s role is key to supporting our five-year growth plan and helping to ensure the great service our customers have enjoyed continues well into the future. Mark has forged ahead reviewing our current procurement procedures and identified ways to improve supplier performance, in terms of material availability and product quality."

Mark joins Apollo with a background in procurement within the chemical industry looking for a new challenge.

Mark said: “It’s early days in my new role but it’s obvious that I’ve joined a business that is ‘on the up’ and values its employees. There are already some great systems in place but there’s always room for improvement. With the support of a proactive team, I’m looking forward to consolidating supply routes to boost business performance whilst maintaining the best quality products for customers.”
